Priority Fee Settings

⚡ TL;DR

The priority fee is what you pay on Solana to have your transaction processed ahead of others.

APM offers two presets plus a custom option in the trading settings panel:

• Fast: 0.001 SOL per transaction

• Turbo: 0.0075 SOL per transaction

• Custom: suggested range 0.0005–0.024 SOL

🔍 Deep dive: what makes up the “priority fee”

APM wraps three Solana fee components into one setting. You just choose a total amount; APM then allocates it intelligently across the parts below to balance cost and execution quality.

⛽Gas

• The base network fee for each transaction

• Compensates validators for computation

• Fixed, about 0.000005 SOL (≈ 0.001 USD)

🚀 Priority fee

• Extra incentive paid to validators

• Increases the chance your transaction is included sooner

• Raise it during network congestion or when sniping hot tokens

🛡️ Bribe

• A Jito-specific tip when MEV protection is enabled

• Ensures higher ordering priority inside Jito bundles and mitigates sandwich/front-run risk

• Check recent benchmarks on the Jito Dashboard

Recommendation The Fast preset works for most situations. When competing for hot tokens or during heavy volatility, use Turbo or set a higher custom value.
