Trading settings

You can customize separate parameters for buy and sell operations. APM Copilot offers three preset profiles (P1, P2, P3) so you can quickly switch between different strategies.

🧾 Setting Options

Slippage

Slippage is the difference between your expected execution price and the actual fill price. If market movement exceeds your slippage tolerance, the system will automatically cancel the trade to avoid an unfavorable execution. Setting slippage properly is key to successful trades and cost control.

📐 Recommended Range

  • Range: 1% – 100%

  • Low slippage (1–2%): Ideal for stable tokens with deep liquidity

  • Medium to high slippage (5–15% or higher): Recommended for volatile or low-liquidity meme tokens to increase execution success

⚙️ MEV Protection

APM integrates MEV protection powered by Jito, which can be toggled in the trading settings:

  • When ON: trades are sent only to Jito nodes, preventing exposure to standard validators and reducing the risk of front-running and sandwich attacks

  • When OFF: trades are broadcast to both Jito and standard block leaders to maximize execution speed, but with lower protection

Note: Even with MEV protection enabled, some malicious or misconfigured validators may still attack. We recommend using reasonable slippage settings alongside MEV protection.

🚀 Priority Fee

The priority fee is what you pay on Solana to have your transaction processed faster by validators.

APM provides two presets plus a custom option, all configurable in the settings panel:

  • Fast: 0.001 SOL per transaction

  • Turbo: 0.0075 SOL per transaction

  • Custom: suggested range 0.0005 – 0.024 SOL

💡 The higher the priority fee, the higher the chance of fast confirmation and successful execution.
